That epoxied-on night-sight doesn't always stay while shooting. The epoxy eventually cracks and the sight flies off.
I've re-epoxied it a 3rd time.
If I lose it, I'll re-drill and tap for another brass bead.
I had to cut the original brass bead off for the glue-on night-sight to fit.
I don't recommend the epoxied-on type of sights, although it could last a few rounds or a few hundred, depending on one's wants/needs.
Yes, the tie-wrap held the sight on when I found the epoxy had fractured.
I'm glad I didn't lose that sight as I recall it was over $60 delivered.
I've since spent more money on a drill-press, taps, and a spare brass bead or two, as I like to be prepared ahead of time.
