I spent the first few years dunking on the P320 (sometimes quite justified I think) but I really loved the P365 I got for my fiancée and then had the opportunity to snag this qualified purchaser M17-B. Couldn’t resist and figured we’re probably past the teething period. I have a Colt GI 1911 (1911-1985) a Beretta M9 (1985-2017) and now I’ve got the Sig M17 (2017-?).

I have to admit that first impressions wise I am a fan. The trigger is very good and the magazines (appear to be Mec Gar) loaded very easily, even the 21-rounder. Good sights as well, I may do a Deltapoint Pro later but maybe not, it’s pretty nicely set up as-is.

The manual safety is not my norm these days but I learned to shoot on safety-equipped guns so it’s not much of an issue. Happy to report that my sample’s safety is just about perfect. Can activate and deactivate without grip adjustment and it’s just stiff enough to be hard to activate by accident.

The slide is not actually chalky in appearance, just the lighting I was using plus the factory grease on the slide and in the letters/numbers.

I’ll report back after a few K rounds.

Those Wilson grips are very good looking.

And they feel and point even better. For me they really make a difference locking in.

I recently picked up my first, an x5 Legion. I’ve installed an rmr using the FCD plate and a light. This will be my “service” pistol and what I’m going to use in upcoming classes.

The trigger feels better in use, than at the bench. And it’s easily more accurate than me. FCD plate is very solid. I had to modify a safariland 6390 for a full size 320 to fit the longer slide on the legion

First couple of mags in. 10rd, 10yd, 25sec, freestyle

One of the best and least expensive mods you can do to the 320 IMO. I prefer them by far over the X grips. The AXG runs second, but they are pricy.

One of my buddies shoots a p320 w Wilson grips better than anything by a ridiculous amount. From appendix on a ipsc a zone he is hitting consistent 1 to 1.05 second first shot draw. He cannot do this without the Wilson grp. It just points really naturally for him

Top was 10 yards and the bottom was at 7 yards. 124 Lawman, our practice ammo. That was right after I switched the front sight from a 6 to an 8.

Same target and ranges a day earlier with the 6 front. 6 was hitting a bit low for my preferred sight picture.

The Wilson Grips are the best and cheapest modification you can make.
