Short thoughts,
I'm finally going to give CO a go. Dropped the coin on SROs (yes more than one)
and a couple of guns to host them.
Zeroed and when to a local outlaw steel challenge.
Dots feel slow...they are not!
The dot is there and ready.
It is yelling at you to break the freaking shot!
That creates proper trigger manipulation issues...like yanking it from left field!
For me, acquiring iron sights goes hand in hand with trigger prep and when the two match up, bang!
Irons give me time to break the shot. Red Dots are ready WAY before I am.
I hate the thought of slow, except when driving on ice, but that is what I need to do. Think methodical, not slow.
I mentioned "feel slow". That steel match? I won 3 of 6 stages! They all felt out of control. (out of my Iron Sight comfort zone)
I will add that ACCURACY is back in spades with RDS and accurate guns! I can draw (Mel Gibson) happy faces at 7 yards on request.
Looking forward to better outdoor weather so I can push the yardage out to...75yard plate rack? We'll see.
Thanks for listening
Best
Patrick
