Looks like there was a bit of choppy weather in the UK. Pilots earn their pay today. In the Navy the LSO watches the approach from the deck and helps the pilot determine the proper glide path. Call the ball.

Are those landing gear mounted on casters of some sort? Looks weird to see it crabbing all the way down the runway...
The Buff's wingspan won't permit landing wing low, so they land crabbed into the wind with the wheels aligned with the runway. The C-5 Galaxy does the same. I am not aware of any others but haven't looked into it.
Yes, the cross wind/crab on the B-52 is a very cool tool.
There is a dial control in the center console between the pilot seats that allows them to set the crab.
