@SouthNarc - what he asked? I've got one of the two laser versions if it matters.

One of my guys did the mod on the SIRT for me, so I have no idea how to do it myself.
Hi gents, I'm a revolver guy and I've used the SIRT and similar for the same reasons Cecil B has mentioned and I also have the STIC.
Re: Handguns. I went through 2 Laserlytes and the internals broke just from trigger press within 6 months of getting them, great warranty service though. I went through 2 airsoft revolvers (one cheap, one $100+) and they broke while working on ..reloads. I also have laser ammo for my actual gun but I find myself practicing the SIRT more and I don't have to worry much about stray parts.
Re: STIC. Currently there's no airsoft equivalent of my carbine (old PC9) and the STIC meets my needs the closest. I've attached some photos of my set up. I'm not very familiar with the AR platform so some of the features are unfamiliar to me and I didn't go for any extra attachments (sling, sights or scope). I attached a generic tac flashlight via a zip tie and glued a screw for a front sight. Out of the box the STIC (which only works with the SIRT 110) wasn't as intuitive to attach to the 110 for me. I had to watch another video and found that the red tab in the rear had to be pulled down. I used a screwdriver to free it as the button at the top was very stiff. While it was possible to force the 110 in and around the tab without pulling it down, the laser dot will come out at an upward angle and become a "-". The barrel can be adjusted by pulling and twisting gradually.
