In this video Lucky Gunner does a great job at testing various choke and ammo combinations with interesting results. I found it very informative. So, I thought I'd post it here.

Pretty much matches by experience. Buffered loads with hardened shot will respond better to choke. Helps if they are low recoil too. I wish Winchester made their new 00 buck Defender load as an 8 pellet load instead of 9 pellets.

I've found their shotgun videos to all be worth watching. Not gonna lie, I've owned a Winchester 1300 for more than 30 years and now I want to cut it down.

I would have liked them to test a flitecontrol wad load in all the different chokes too.
That being said I’ve seen enough testing to know that flitecontrol often does better in IC chokes then modified.
I still prefer modified chokes for the versatility in ammo performance.
My 14” 590A1 has a modified choke and shoots amazing with Remington 8 pellet low-recoil. A match made in heaven.
