VDI who specializes in security driver classes, has a new tactical medicine class.
I have not affiliation with this school or class, but thought it would be of interest here.

This is what the link shows, dates are at the bottom:

Professional Security Drivers and other protection practitioners recognize that, even under the best of circumstances, managing a medical emergency is not only one of the most challenging situations they may find themselves in, but it’s also one of the more likely among the wide range of emergency scenarios they may face. As with many other emergencies that he or she may have to contend with, the experienced security professional also understands that:

  • The probability is high that should they have to contend with a medical emergency it will most likely be while the Principal is in or around their vehicle.

  • Any time a medical emergency situation unfolds in or around a vehicle it becomes far more challenging to successfully manage.

To meet the unique needs of those professionals, VDI is proud to partner with Flying Aces Consulting – a leading-edge medical training and consulting firm founded by Andy Bershad, a Team Leader with NYPD ESU’s Tactical Medical Team and that unit’s tactical medical instructor – to present world-class emergency medical response training that provides students the knowledge, skill, and ability needed to overcome the unique challenges that accompany medical emergencies that occur in or around a vehicle. Meet the Flying Aces team and learn more about the consulting services they provide.
Over the course of more than a year, Flying Aces’ team of highly experienced medical professionals and first responders has designed and developed a series of modular Medicine on the Move courses that address the challenges faced by professional Security Drivers and other protection practitioners when it comes to managing medical emergencies.
