    Integrated comp slide.

I like it. When they offer a standalone slide, I would buy it.

Looks like it uses a regular P365 barrel in the XL length slide.

Might make the PMM combo obsolete.

Came here to post exactly what you did. I am curious about the compensation performance of that approach vs the threaded-barrel-attached PMM comp I'm currently using. At the PMM comp setup gives you a little longer barrel by virtual of the threads.

Same.. also looks to have a different red dot plate where the rear sight isn't affected. I'll be waiting to get a second 365xl now..

That feature, separate rear sight, could be very useful if you want to run the larger EPS optic (which doesn’t have a built in rear sight).
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

    That’s what I’m thinking, too.

What’s the advantage to a comped slide vs a comp threaded to the barrel? It seems like it would be difficult to make the comp as effective as a barrel mounted comp in this case.

From a comp effectiveness standpoint, 1911 bushing comps were proven less effective than barrel mounted comps decades ago. *if the comp slide doesn't have expansion chambers edm'd or milled out like a regular comp it will have similar attributes *The only "benifit" I can see is less (no extra) weight on the end of the barrel making tilting barrel guns less finicky to ammo and spring rates..

I like the concept but I wonder how well it will work. I wish they had used a longer barrel with ported end inside the slide comp area as an expansion chamber. They could have skipped the slide cuts too since there is no ported barrel in those areas.
