What is the scene is still hostile and the only safe choice is to leave the scene?

    Maybe watch the video. 7:53.

I've had a few good shoots where the victim left and was able to explain the why of it, but as Mas explains flight = presumptive guilt.
Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.

That was the case with Kyle Rittenhouse. Massad already addressed a hostile situation, but I really have to wonder how the situation/case against Kyle would have unfolded if he had remained in that spot. Would he have been seen as an active shooter, and shot by the police? This is far from an academic question, and one which could save our lives.

Good video with good advice. Self-defense is an affirmative defense, so you have to assert it, it won’t be assumed for you. Quite the opposite, if one flees.
