The stock safety is too expensive to make it viable.

Great news! I’m just hoping the paddles are big enough.

I haven’t read the entire thread, so apologies in advance if this question was already addressed.

Any reported issues with Shield pistols having the updated safety and kydex holsters? Specifically JMCK holsters?

Not sure about fitment to individual holsters. I use a hair dryer or a head gun and modify that area. I want the holster molded to the bottom of the safety so it cant off safe in the holster then I mold the tunnel so it wont get knocked off safe on the draw. A pen works well for the molding. Or go old school leather worker and use an antler tip.
This of course doesnt work on injection molded holsters.

I use the slim version of the extended safety on both of my Shield Plus's. The full extended version would require a bigger bump out when remolding the area. I find the slim version to be a better option all around. Here's how my Tenicor Velo5 looks after heating the area up ad fitting it.

Perfect! Bill actually made mold guides at one piint but it proved easier to do by hand.

Thanks for the pictures, that makes perfect sense to me now. If we had a like button, I'd hit it.
