Thankfully Idaho is coasting through an easy winter and I hope it stays that way until I run out of runway. Still, if we outlive our horses I'm moving to a warmer climate.
We got ice and rain in Fayetteville. Looks like I'll be going to work tomorrow.

Nothing here yet, 7:00 PM we are to start up to 18 inches. My area is slightly less but who knows. Went shopping yesterday. The HOA plows and digs out the driveways and paths from the houses. Hope it is clearly by Thursday as I have things to do. Good luck to all.
shot an IDPA match this morning, came home and as best I can tell the water line from to well to house managed to freeze. We have another well at the barn for the short term until the house line thaws and damage assessment can happen. No snow as of yet.
About 2 inches here. Another 1 expected!

A bit more than a dusting here in Richmond. Some sleet.
Warmer now (38F) at 8PM than at noon.
We skipped going out to dinner, not wanting to try and navigate ascending the up-slope from the river to the city.
Leftovers and Sloppy Joe's instead of Vietnamese.... Looks like it'll remain above freezing tonight.
Last time I was in VA in the winter, we landed in a snowstorm and it kept snowing for 2 days and about 30 inches.
Happy not to have that again.

It’s edged above freezing here, supposedly it’ll be mostly rain and lots of wind.
I can stand that. Neither has to be shoveled.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
