    Installing a new rail on a DDM4...?

So I have a Daniel Defense V4 and I want to put a Troy Alpha rail on it. I need to replace the proprietary DD barrel nut with a standard M4 barrel nut for it to fit. Do I need to order this to remove it, or is there a simpler solution?

A strap wrench might do the trick, depending on how tight the existing barrel nut is.

It *might* work... I'd just get the proper wrench if I were you.

Is the tool I posted in the link the proper wrench?

That appears to be the standard DD wrench.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.
