I choose to believe that Ms. White selflessly gave herself to the gods as a sacrifice. As the surviving and strongest Golden Girl, she knew the power she had. I've been dreading this for years. I knew it was coming, we all did.
Loved her comedy. I'm 30, and she was amazing to me. How she could span so many decades with grace is inspiring.
My memories of "The Golden Girls" have faded somewhat, but Ms. White was hilarious in "The Proposal". One of a kind perhaps.
Her portrayal of “Sue Ann Nivens” on the Mary Tyler Moore Show was priceless.
I fell out of my seat laughing at her potty mouth in Lake Placid! RIP indeed.
