It’s very easy to mount auto reset targets 4 feet in the air.

The staked ones that I posted are two parts. A stake and an upper part. Held together by bolts and springs.

Instead of using the stake, you can bolt it to a 2x4 or a 4x4 which is basically the same thing as a speed rack.

It’s cheaper than doing something like this, but this works too.

I agree. Mine (like I pictured)are about that high up, and I have had very good results from using chain. With two chains they settle down very quickly, there is no problem with splatter, and there is no doubt when you hit them.

Also, using the conduit has worked out very well, it is much more durable than I expected, and when it does get hit remains stronger than I thought it would be.

ETA: With this method you could probably do five 8" plates on a conduit stand (if you drill your own holes and cut your own chain) for ~$400.

I haven't used their rack, but the TA mini dap is great. Posting as another option for those interested.
