    It wasn't THE game that week if Summerall and Madden weren't calling it. Legendary, and by all accounts a great guy.

    John Madden and Pat Summerall were the jewels of the NFL. When they left the broadcast booth I lost interest. When the kneeling crapola started I wrote off football altogether.

    John's son went to my high school, after I graduated. John came for a parent's weekend and did play by play for the football game -- a big hit with all there.
    Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.
