For the close pressure test I can probably do that fairly simply.
I was going to test these three:
Semi-serrated, non-serrated and full serrated.

Current candidate for an “arm.”
Used a light stand rod that fits inside the 3/4” PVC pipe in the meat arm.
I could get my wife to hold it (yeah right) or I can affix it to a stand.
It’ll have enough inertia to stay in place with the initial blow, but then have enough dynamic “give” as it falls away.
Found one of my Kevlar sleeves from when I used to burn myself wrenching on hot car exhaust.
I also plan on seeing if I’m coordinated enough to hit a neck with a meat arm in it….
Can you use some very high speeds filming this so as to get some super slo-mo of the cuts?
It would be very interesting to see which parts of the blade (in all three knives) make contact first, which parts of the blade engage the "arm" the deepest, etc ... Essentially a what does what well in a knife for that type of cut.

I need to buy some smaller Torx….
My Delrin for my practice blade came in.
I am strangely mesmerized by this thread.

My unqualified opinion is that justifying killing a person with a knife would be more difficult than justifying the same when using a gun. I refer to justifying it with a district attorney.
I grew up in an area of the Deep South where women would fight each other using straight razors carried in their bosom. Men would fight using pocket knives. Seeing long scars on these folks was common. When I worked as a jailer and when belligerent women came to us, I would check their mouths for single edge razor blades carried in the cheeks of their mouth. Sometimes I did find blades encased in their card board wrapper.
Okay, this is what I have for the bracket.
Just waiting on my Kevlar gloves and the training Matriarchs to come.
