Thread: Tenicor Zero

    I'm fucking pissed.
After years I finally settled on the MMT specialist and they finally got the buckles right after fucking around with those shitty stamped steel ones on their initial release.

I bought one of these on a whim and I'll be damned if it isn't a better belt in pretty much every way. The wilderness nylon has always been the best in the industry and now it's paired with a good buckle.

Now to get rid of 3 belts and buy 2 more of these.

Has anyone used it with say a G17 AIWB and a light and spare mag weak side?
I won't do it justice here, but really it seems to be the tension between the buckle and the belt tail relative to the shape of the belt when worn (round) that tensions the buckle. The buckle remains in place and does not loosen when the belt webbing is pulled in either direction. For the buckle to be allowed to loosen, you would have to be wearing it so loose that the angle of the buckle relative to the tail changes significantly. Hard to explain but easy to understand when you mess with the belt.

    Zero issues.
    Pun intended?

Currently by the ocean in CA and on the move to a more free state. Three more years!
I am not sure when I became a belt whore, but I guess this order makes it official.

I found a 36 on the website and ordered one. I have several holsters from Tenicor now and they are all exceptional. I hope the belt is similar in quality.

It shipped the same day I ordered it, so I am eagerly awaiting the arrival.

But if the holster is not designed to sit tight and you put a 2011 with a light on it, the belt will not be supportive enough to carry that equipment.

How have the people you know have been testing these been carrying spare magazines? I tried a Raven Lictor Double Magazine carrier today and it didn't work well as in it wanted to roll outboard away from body and tend to print more.

Been carrying my spare in a Kramer single mag pouch. Works fine, not as tight as on a Wilderness 5 stitch.

It’s the last belt you’ll need.

It’s the best belt there is. It’s everything you need and nothing you don’t.

I’ve been wearing the prototypes for two years. The webbing is superior and the buckle just flat out works. I can hang the belt over a chin up bar, lock the buckle in and chin myself with it. It doesn’t slip.

I usually teach the live fire portion of ECQC wearing two holsters, one appendix and one OWB so I can demo two different positions. Plus the pistol or SIRT I’m using plus ear pro, and maybe a spare mag or two. Zero issues with supporting that weight inside or outside.

Most people when they look at it are fairly non-plussed; “Oh……that’s it?”

    Which is why it’s brilliant.

As soon as the demand calms down some what, Jeff and I may very well do a ShivWorks edition much like the ShivWorks iterations of the Tenicor holsters that are grey and all come with the T1 loop made for Jeff exclusively by DCC. We’ll see. Regardless I carry Tenicor support equipment exclusively and we offer it from ShivWorks Products Group. There’s not a single piece of gear Jeff designs that doesn’t have Rain Man level thought and attention to detail behind it. Plus Jeff trains and I’ve known him for 12 years. Jeff and Tenicor pass the good dude barometer and I’m pleased that we have brand affiliation and a professional and personal relationship.
