I own the Mastermind Tactics belt. Great belt.
What does the Tenicor Zero offer beyond the absence/sound of Velcro?

I have both and have been wearing the Zero since it came out.

    PROS
I think it is easier to get on and off.
    It is easier to adjust
It is lighter, thinner and sits more flat against the waistline.

    CONS
The belt itself is less rigid. If you need the belt not to not roll or need to support more weight, it is not as good.
The width and thickness is thinner: I use pull the dots loops and there is more slack for the holster to move around. Also my old kydex OWB mag holders tend to slip along the belt now.

I like the Zero a lot but I'm not getting rid of my Mastermind belts.

Me either. But for my daily carry G26, it's great, even with the fixed soft loops on the JMCK.

I've got a bunch, but the ones that get the most wear are the D-Ring...and the "Parameter" from a few years back with an AustriAlpin frame buckle. (Not the same as the current "Parameter" as offered by Mastermind.)

I have several others, but one is for use indoors dry firing, and the others are for when the occasion arises.

    Executive summary- I like it.

I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked with a 5 inch all steel 1911 in a CCC shaggy AIWB given the weight of a loaded .45 ACP 1911 w two mags in both a double OWB and IWB pouch.

It is not "fiddly" as I initially feared before I tried the belt.

IMHO, the performance aspect of the Zero belt outweighs the limited value proposition relative to the Mastermind Tactics Specialist offerings. If I was outfitting somebody today, I could recommend the Zero for the Black colorway and MMT for Green and Tan.

I am now selling a couple of Mastermind belts (solid black and solid wolf gray) because the Zero covers both of those colorways for me. I will keep my OD green Specialist as a Scout Belt. I will keep the Black/Red Shivworks and Black/Orange PF special editions as well.

If money is really driving the train, There is not better exceeding the intersection of quality/value the the offerings of Mastermind Tactics.

    YMMV greatly

Living across the Golden Bridge , and through the rainbow tunnel, somewhere north of fantasyland.
Received mine this morning and been wearing it all day. Very comfortable as a belt alone. Feels like not wearing a belt, after years of Milt Sparks leather. Almost 10 hrs now with a P320 Pro Carry in a JMCK IWB#3 and JMCK Single Mag Pouch (OWB). Carries the weight really well. I imagine a 365XL in an IWB/AIWB rig would feel like walking around in your skivies. Dunno how it'd handle OWB carry of a heavier gun....but a fullsize polymer 9mm and spare mag is no problem.

I agree, although I've not found it easier to adjust than a conventional belt. I don't carry a heavy gun but my preference is for slightly stiffer belts. I was thinking of taking it to some local tailor shop and having them run some longitudinal stitching but it is already stitched.
“Well," said Pooh, "what I like best," and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.
