    What are these on this DPD cruiser?

    Dallas PD cruiser in front of me yesterday. What are those things on the trunk? There were 2 on the left and 1 on the right.

    I remember reading an article some years ago that LPR cars were being operated in California by LE that were funded by an Indian reservation with casino money.
    We wish to thank the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement, without whose assistance this program would not have been possible.

    No pictures they just run license plates for stolen and warrants.
