About two month ago I purchased a new Optics Ready CZ P10C. Every time I take it to the range, my right arm gets peppered, by what I can only assume is powder coming out of the ejection port. My first thought is that the recoil spring is too weak, and it’s causing the slide to unlock early and some burnt powered is making its way out of ejection port when the shell is extracted. It’s not painful, just annoying and I have never had it happen before. Anyone else have an issue like this?

All Springs are stock, and there is no lube in the chamber. This has happened with AE 124, Speer lawman 147, and Blazer 115. Current round count is approximately 500. I had 2 stove pipes in the first 100 rounds but no issues since then. The gun also feels like it has a lot more muzzle flip than my P30, which might support my weak recoil spring theory.

Should I just get a new recoil spring to try? Send it back to CZ? Accept that she’s a spitter and keep shooting?

Thanks in advance.
