Gonna steal the swab in the power drill. For years I have sneered at the AR15 chamber brush in favor of a nylon 20 gauge bore brush in a powerdrill. With the brasso I still have all my Glocks will be getting a mirror shine in no time on the internals. Except for the one with NP3 internals. IME no pot metal polish will touch NP3. Too bad NP3 is a thing of the past...

And an LCR .327mag to stoked with .32 H&R mag is probably my next revolver purchase for a throw-in-the-pocket, check the mail and do yardwork gun. And probably a NY reload or BUG to my EDC/duty G-17.

@BehindBlueI's, don't worry. If my fetish experiment fails, I won't mention it again. For many possible reasons....

Okay, maybe a little too far…

Bunch of dry fire this morning and it’s very smooth now.

The trigger pull has come down too far and it’s not firing off CCI primers reliably. So will put the hammer spring back to stock but use the lighter trigger spring.

Okay, that should work. Still very smooth. Should have enough zip for those hard primers.

Look at the Taurus “no view” .38 9 oz or so. I have one not brave enough to pop one off yet! Someone online posted a set of self modded boot grips that make the gun. These should be offered again, in more realistic calibers like .32 and . 22LR and WMR. I have found that every 5 oz is noticeable both in carry and punishment you endure. I have owned a bunch of the little lightweights. I think a .380 version would really be sweet as it seems shorter.

Wow, I just looked up that revolver. I hadn’t seen that before.

I really like my 380 revolver.

You could make it a no view by hacking off half the barrel lol.

Today, we went to meet old friends for lunch. Haven't seen them in years. So because of dress requirements, my SW 432 got a day out. A speed loader in my winter jacket pocket. I'm resisting an LCR because I want to use my fun money for other hobbies.

A pleasant surprise, one old friend has a new hubby. I saw the way he was dressed and suspected. Yep, a gun guy - retired law and shoots the local police matches. We discussed Glocks, Pythons, rifles, pocket guns and the like while the ladies discussed whatever they talked about. Pancakes were devoured and fun had by all.

While not relevant, I am continually surprised that WNY is just chock full of folks with pistol permits and serious knowledgeable pistol folk.

Does anyone know SW folk to prod them to make a 432 run, or up grade it to 327? While not a pocket gun, I truly like my 3 inch 632. That would be my belt gun if I had to ditch those evil Glocks.

    Almost in full prep

    Need to test function tomorrow.

Installed front sight (they’re pre-drilled and come with a pin… why can’t Smith do that?!!)

Demonstrating index and too light springs

Initial testing from pocket was encouraging except for the light strikes due to the light springs earlier today.

    The two shots were sternum.

Normally I just use the Dremel cutting wheel, but I do that in the garage and I’m currently watching Frozen with the kiddo, lol.

Did you remove the anodizing? No concern about steel parts wearing through the bare/exposed aluminum?
