In my unscientific testing there is some shadow, but in a standard residential room with the hotspot of light at mid-chest level, the shadow is well on the ceiling, to the point I had to consciously look about 60* upwards to notice it.

Edit- light should be further back on rail towards trigger guard but I didn’t feel like changing the key from the p320c that light is normally on.
    That’s a big help - thank you!

Me too! Happy with my other holsters, but eager to support quality makers with a G34-TLR7/8 option.

    Thank you, Mr. Mayer.
Per the PF Code of Conduct, I have a commercial interest in the StreakTM product as sold by Ammo, Inc.

You need to let me know in the comments you have that Kager (spelling?) slide release, that will have to be accounted for before it's pressed.

@Tony Mayer, that’s not me - I use stock size releases.

Getting there. Remember, this isn’t meant to be a “real” Roland Special, just a pistol in the spirit of one - compensated, RDS, WML. I’ll be swapping out the RMR for an ACRO P-2 if it ever gets here, and probably the Glock extended slide release for a Vickers*.

    * I have an old thumb injury that makes use of the stock Glock slide release very painful. I’ve been using the extended ones for years, but found that the Vickers model gives me just enough additional purchase to manipulate without hurting too much.

In the spirit of this 19 being a test mule, I just cut down the medium beavertail grip adapter below the sixth row and pinned it in place. I’ve never experimented with them since I do best with a small diameter grip, but the cut down adapter does bring the dot to aim quicker. This may be a revelation.

I recently tried the cut down beavertail and regular grip adapters myself. I liked the beavertail version more, but not enough to compromise being able to use the SCD. Jury is still out on the plain Backstrap.

I’m still able to use the SCD with no issue - what are you seeing?

I can still press on it, but its more at the top of the plate, verses the bottom, IE: I have less leverage on the SCD to block the striker movement. Usable, but IMHO, not ideal.
