Thread: Dillon 750

I got it all set up and running. I think the key is patience and learning how every part works and what it does. I had to make a couple tweaks but it seems to be running pretty good.

One issue is the Redding seating die I’m using. It seems to be shaving off the coating. I have plenty of belling on the case but the die actually resizes slightly if the flare is too much. I may need to go back to the Dillon seating die or try something else. I like being able to make micro adjustments.

I messed around with different dies in my 650 and ended up just using dillon dies. I wouldn't bother with anything else anymore.

New quirks continue to pop up with it but the most consistent issue is high primers. At first I figured I was going too fast so I slowed down and it helped but I’m still getting 2-3 per 100. I had this issue only once with my 550 in 10k rounds.

I’ve never swayed or sorted brass but I guess I’m going to have to start doing it (sorting).

So what headstamps do you sort and toss?

Also went to the Dillon seating die and the seating issues went away.
