    John Hearne - Lecture Series - Austin, TX Area

    Karl Rehn is hosting me for two days of lectures in January in the Austin, TX area.

    On January 8th, I'll be delivering my "Who Wins, Who Loses, & Why" lecture. This is a comprehensive multi-disciplinary take on understanding the human response to life and death stress and how to train to mitigate it. If you are a "why" person, this lecture gets rave reviews and repeat attendance.

    On January 9th, I'll be delivering three related lectures. The topics are the Newhall Massacre, the Miami FBI-Firefight, and Hard Won Lessons (FBI Bad Guy research). These aren't just tactics and marksmanship lectures but delve deeply into the psychological aspects of the participants. If you want a frightening view of the criminal mind, this is a great way to get it in a more action-packed way.

    Bump as we're a month out.

    Also, the Sunday lecture is being modified to include summaries of research on criminals and victim selection that were included in the "How Paranoid Are You?" lecture. The plan is to have the morning filled with a theoretical understanding of criminals. The afternoon will be spent with the practical application of that knowledge by examining the Newhall Massacre and Miami FBI-Firefight.
