    Those are the old Nyclad 124 grain hollow points. Pretty decent low tech bullet way back. I shot them a lot in an old Hi Power back '92-93.

    I recently bought some Vor-TX 115GR TAC-XP Hollow points.

    I'm not up to date on the newer ammo. What is better or worse in the newer ammo?

    For what purpose?

    For range use then I would say whatever you can get your hands on for the least amount of money (especially in Kalifornia) that runs reliably.

    For self protection then the general consensus here is to follow Doc’s list of loads that meet FBI testing protocol. https://pistol-forum.com/showthread....f-Defense-Ammo

    But right now given the situation (again especially in Kalifornia) you get what you get.
