    PSA has Holosun 407s for $219, without the flickering and poor refresh rate or battery compartment issues. Even by budget optic standards the Haven is flawed for serious use.

    But hey, I’ve only been shooting pistol optics off and on since the 1999 and have a few hundred in use on the street so what do I know ?

    Not doubting your experience, but I’ve not seen the flickering. So if it develops, I have no problem seeking a different platform.

    It really depends on how you're using the optic. A lot of horizonal panning will really bring out refresh rate issues.
