I’ll test mine for that on bags.

I have no idea whether that is an MPS issue or an issue with my one unit.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.
I’ve had no experience with this particular optic, but I’m currently wading through an unpleasant experience with another Steiner laser that was defective right out of the box. I’m not clear on how the POI of an IR laser pointer is actually controlled, but this one could not be shifted nor would the manufacturer’s reset procedure effect any change. To their credit, Steiner has been up front about the ridiculously long turnaround time frame for warranty returns. My situation is exacerbated by a merchant who actively misrepresented what I had to look forward to in that regard, and was as far away from the Primary Arms customer service ethos as possible without laughing maniacally and shouting AMF YOYO when I brought the problem to their attention.

The CHPWS Instagram page shows the Steiner has a lot of open space on the Acro plate. So much so that they are designing an MPS specific plate.
That seems weird to me.

At some point I am going to have a pistol milled for the Acro pattern, but considering the Steiner.
Midway had them for $425 so I bought one to play with. Should be here Friday.

I'm curious if the discounted MPS optics are older ones without the programmable auto-off. It's a good price either way.
