I agree, well above even the current market pricing.

Ok guys I pass on both. I really dont have a grail gun just want to get a K or larger frame wheelie simply because of PF influencers. Im thinking after handling that 44 mag lock version with the trigger job I may get a newer one remove the lock and get a trigger job on it. This is probably going to be rated near the top of my irrational purchases.
    I'll wager you a PF dollar™ 😎

If you don’t mind a 38 instead of a 357 there’s a lot of 64s in gunbroker. But yeah both of those are high. This year I’ve bought a 66-4, 19-6, and 65-5 each for way less than what they’re asking.

Even in the higher-dollar, big-city market, here in Houston, Texas, those prices are high, even for a dealer to ask.

Agreed with the previous posters, the prices are high, especially so if lacking boxes, tools, paperwork etc. Might be reasonable if the guns had Farrant, Hurst or other premium custom grips.

As to which to choose, if you intend to shoot any amount of magnum ammo, go with the 586. If you want something to carry and mostly shoot .38's, go Model 19.

It really just depends. On your taste, on your $, and what's available. All those above would be good beaters. There's a lot of new 66s and 19s on GB right now for buy now prices in the $800s.

If you almost bought a 1200-1500$ gun than those should seem cheap. Or get a Python
