With my particular MKIII, both my MecGar 15 rounders will occasionally lock the slide back with one round left in the mag. 13-rounders don’t do that, so… I mainly use those. But maybe my particular gun has a janky slide stop or something.

It also kinda feels like the rounds “ka-chunk” off the feed ramp a little more with the 15s vs. 13s. But maybe that’s my imagination.

Well, I said the BHP never did much for me… and it has not.

But this…. IF they fixed the trigger pull, and removed the stupid mag disconnect from the start, and solved the hammer bite, and looks like it has nice deep detents for the thumb safety to make it “clicky”, and they gave the safety a larger shelf.….

Well, that was every complaint I had about my current BHP.

Not rushing out to pre order, but I am more intrigued than I was yesterday. Now I at least want to finger and one once they hit the shelf.

Wow color me shocked, that is impressive then.

Wish their 1911s in this price range could follow suit.

I also have experienced a higher failure rate with my Mec-Gar 15 rounders. It may be due to my mags being early 90 production and Mec-Gar has improved the followers on them but I have as a rule used 13 rounders for non range use as a result.
