This is tragic. MS is one of the worst things anyone could endure, including their family. I'd like to donate but can anyone verify the organizer's legitimacy?
In the description he even writes that he's just some random guy on the internet, insinuating he doesn't actually know Dugan or have any particularly intimate connection to him.

Not sure what you are talking about, the gofundme campaign mentioned in the original post still looks very active to me.
It just turned back on. About 2 hours ago it was closed to donations.
I just tried to donate and kept getting error messages. Will try again.
Looks like there's participation from brands such as Noveske, Palmetto State Armory and Garand Thumb, hope it's legit.
