The article shows further proof that our society has moved away from objectivity and into a partisan subjectivity. Doc Robert's "Facts matter...Feelings Can Lie" comes to mind here, because there's a sad tendency to evaluate facts based on feelings- and dismiss any inconvenient facts if they don't match the partisan worldview.

I understand, but every agency lets something slide...until they don't.
I doubt this was the only clarification letter since 1986, but anyone who wants to push the edge of the envelope has now been warned.
