Like clockwork, LAV's Facebook page is now shilling for another 1911 maker.

Admittedly, LAV is framing it as more a competitor to Heirloom Precision than Wilson Combat, but... you know.

At least when Schauland builds you an 8k custom 1911, it's on one of his frames. Or if Burton builds you one, it's on a Colt frame that was welded up and refit. You start with an oversized Wilson frame and slide, fit it, then fit a KART barrel, and put some laser engraving on the side and say, "$8,000! Larry Vickers likes it!" - As we have determined, LAV's opinion is worth precisely what you pay for it...

I attended a Vickers class at the beginning of October, before his plea was entered. I can say that I could not pick up from him that anything of that magnitude was looming, but then again I never met the man before...
