I believe it was in an article/book that Col. Cooper wrote, possibly his 1974 book titled Cooper on Handguns or possibly one of the Gargantuan Gunsite Gossip compilations. I also think the Don Nowka won 500 gold dollars, but I haven't confirmed that.
