(Of course, it wasn't something a little bit of charcoal from the fire and some other stuff couldn't deal with.)

He would’ve told you not to drink from that poisoned spring..

Jubal Sackett was probably my favorite book by L'amour and before Google was a thing he had all sorts of interesting gun stuff in his books...the 12 shot Walch revolvers, or the handmade Italian repeating flintlocks that Jubal carried...

    Just cool. Soo cool.

I need to get more if his stuff in my library.

Used to have a ton of his books (including short stories).

He could really put good detail into a fistfight in a way I don't think any writer has since his time. As a guy who started getting into boxing/MMA partly from reading the details of some of the fistfights in Lando Sackett or a few if his short stories (highly recommend) it's cool hearing an old pro boxer describe a fight and to go back and reread them.
@RevolverRob that's an awesome collection. Where does one find these new releases?

Man I misremembered Fair Blows the Wind was the first of the Chantry series. My bad.

Dude get out of my head. I am still sad he didn't go as deeply into the Chantry family as he did the Sacketts, but The Ferguson Rifle was so good.
