Retention is fine in my JM Kydex Wing Claw 2.5 and an old Armordillo Concealment Lux, although to be fair the Lux gets all of it's retention from belt pressure. Similar to the Floodlight but without the shock cord.

I ended up getting an Insane Kydex Creations holster so I can take advantage of the slimmer profile of the PID vs the TLR-1. Cringy company name, cringy gf spamming social media as advertisement, but it's a good holster and the only option I could find for an m&p with this light.

Having the skinnier light and holster in my pants does make a difference in comfort to me. With a wedge and a claw, I don't see any difference in concealment, though.

    I agree.

I push forward on the switch rather than in when shooting with 2 hands but I have to push in during one handed manipulation. It works fine, as I don't ever use momentary, but I'd rather have TLR-7 switches.

If Holosun would re-profile the back of the switch to not curve torward the muzzle where the light meets the frame and reduce the pressure required to activate (not to the level of Modlite, please), that would greatly solve the switch gripes without requiring a total redesign of the back of the light.

They could release it as a gen 2, offer an upgrade service of gen 1 lights for a fee ( I feel like they have enough US based CS and warranty facilities to handle this), and work with some holster makers to have more options available and it would probably do well.

However, I don't see this happening so I'm still potentially interested in the EPL.

    Glad to, buddy!

One additional - I mounted up the Glock/TLR-7 option on a G19 I had laying around, and the locating of the pressure switch itself was very difficult to consistently operate.

For background, I wear size 2-4 gloves on the DOD sizing system, with most wearing size 8-11, so the descending fingers of my firing grip are crammed relatively higher up beneath any given trigger guard, relative to most; and the pressure switch was tucked sufficiently into the Glock-centric undercut that I'd have to specifically shift my social finger to actuate the switch. In my default firing grip, as adjusted to account for the additional depth added to the grip, my social finger is overriding the lower edge of the contour switch.

I suspect that the P320/TLR-7 contour switch won't have quite the same problem, because of the lack of so pronounced an undercut, but I'm looking at kitting out a Glock to get *away* from the P320, so that's not the most helpful to my specific need.

I think I've got one or two of the TLR-1 contour switches laying around, so I'll pull them out later and see if they have the same issue.
