Thread: Holosun 509T MOS plate?

    Holosun 509T MOS plate?

I'm looking for a plate to mount a 509T onto a Glock MOS and trying to figure out what my options are. I'd prefer a steel plate. Holosun makes one (https://www.holosun.com/index/produc...il/id/193.html) that I thought I heard was steel? But I don't see them for sale online anywhere? Are there any other options or has anyone tested various plates and found which works the best?

Also, what height iron sights do I want for lowest possible co-witness?

    Thanks

I can’t help on the sight question, sorry.

Ameriglo has a chart in their latest catalog; we use it at work.
The ACRO uses the GL-429. I *think* it would work with a Holosun-.315 front, .394 rear.

I just got a set of Ameriglo GL-429s to put on my 19MOS/509T. I have GL-470s on it now and they’re too high. I’ll post pics when I get it done this weekend.

I am very pleased by the very low height of GL429s and a 509T on a CHPWS plate. I know some people have issues with Ameriglos drifting in Gen 5s. This might be uncouth, but I slather the bottom of the rear sight in LocTite and haven't had one move since.

Thanks! I couldn't find it in stock anywhere.

Does everyone think this is way to go for MOS plate? Or any reason to get C&H one instead?

Thanks Lon for great pics! GL-429 looks like the way to go.

The Holosun plate is steel, and will sit the 509T slightly lower. The C&H plate is aluminum…I prefer steel.
