I admire that he kept his battles with cancer to his private life. Too many of those friggin' celebs think that they are some sort of role model or other such bullshit.

He was the funniest of comics. His appearance on “The View” back in 2000 was classic. There was no one better. His bit on Letterman’s last night was the best 5 minute standup I’ve ever seen. His work on SNL was incredible with the constant trolling of the NBC brass (they told him not to talk about Michael Jackson or OJ, so he told Michael Jackson and OJ jokes constantly until he was fired). We are diminished.
