    22Gen5 .40 vs. 35Gen4 .40 (Anyone have both)

Does anyone own both the 22Gen5 .40 and the 35 Gen4 .40? I used my 35 Gen4 for USPSA this weekend and shot well with it (for me). I am curious if the additional slide weight of the 22Gen 5 makes it easier to shoot than the 35 Gen4. I have a Gen 5 23 but I shoot the 35 Gen4 better because it fits my hand.

    Also, any 35Gen5 rumors anywhere?

    My unquantified perception is that gen5 G22 is easier/better/more shootable/etc than the gen4 G35.

    However, of the gen5 .40s I like the G23.

Thanks for the input, I am thinking about picking one up and I am trying to justify it.

I’ll help. If you get a 22 and like it I bet you will eventually be able to get a 35 slide and barrel, and it will be compatible with the 22 grip frame.

We sponsor the countries top IPSC Standard (similar to Limited) Shooter. He is of the opinion that his G22 Gen5 out shoots his G35 Gen4.

Its been my perception as well.
