    Asgard Defense Krieger

I searched and couldn't find a thread. Im looking at my next shotgun and ran across this. Its been reviewed at TFB so I included a link to the review. I doubt Id pay the price but I hoped someone had some experience with the Kreiger they coukd share.

MP5 variants are the only guns which should be named Kreiger…

That name/title certainly sets off the Timmy whistle. Not sure what the advantage would be over something that is currently proven and backed by a larger company.

If I wanted a defensive shotgun and for some reason Beretta 1301s and Benelli M1/2/4 was not an option due to budget, I would take a hard look at the Stoeger 3000.

Damn... That is Next Level ugly! Maybe it's a good shotgun but I wouldn't trust an unproven platform. And one without any aftermarket support for my endless need to accessorize.

I found it odd that a gas operated shotgun using a recoil spring required different springs for different rounds. The article really didnt go into detail about which rounds needed which springs. If it 2.7 vs 3” then maybe I could understand but if its within the same length shell that would be pretty bad.
For me Im merely curious not actually interested.
The video of the rapid fire would have been better if they would have split screen the target at the same time.

On their website they linked an article by recoil magazine. Times on target for multiple shots I thought sounded impressive but I have no idea how it would compare to other tactical shotguns. I thought the paragraph about the petite photographer shooting the gun was really interesting. On cost if a person was going to spend the money on a Langdon 1301 this is not a much further reach and actually gives you much better rail options. I assume since its American made there are no 922r considerations. On their blog they say they will have an article soon detailing when spring changes are needed but I get the idea it is not so picky that its a spring change for every different round. Ive msgd them asking for details. Im personally pretty impressed that a small team has designed this. You cant beat American ingenuity.
