I think I've convinced myself, if I get a 1911, to focus on the TRP. The 10-8 video (and his video on the TRP), were helpful.

If the 9mm Emissary is an option, grab it. I snagged one on GunBroker/local shop and just took it out today. The CFO loved it as well and inadvertently gave me permission to find another one. Recoil is almost non existent and I believe Hilton Yam/10-8 Performance provided a great overview.

Should you find yourself in the Tampa area, let me know and you can wring it out.

Edit: shot Federal 124 & 147 and SuperVel Hish Puppy 147. No issues and barely any recoil.
