LtCol Stu Scheller Makes Another Statement

I think anyone who has gone through a tough time in their life should be able to tell that this guy is unhinged and is on a self-destructive path. This hurts to watch this guy doing this to himself.

    He may be unhinged.

The use of social media for this didn't smell right. I wondered if he might be setting up a run for office and in the new reporting based on this video, that angle is getting a more looks. He wouldn't be the craziest Congressman.

He’s generating a lot of social media shield-beating but I agree; there’s an underlying motive-exploitation curve here that is beyond the face value. Which is unfortunate because his points from the first video are pretty stellar.

Agreed - at this point he needs an intervention by his peers.

Poor guy. I think @TGS has the right read, he seems to be going through a personal crisis. His wife and family must have it even worse, having to watch the unraveling from front row seats.

Yeah.... I got nothing on this one...

Everyone has a point where “Fuck it” makes perfect sense. Doesn’t mean they’re unhinged. Personally, I’m glad the crazy colonials hit “Fuck it”, or we’d still be drinking overtaxed tea and saying shit like “Jolly Good”.

He wants off the train. I don’t blame him one bit. If I were still on active duty, I’d have already quit and handed in my shit Nothing quite as uplifting as knowing a full 1/3 of the people you’ve dedicated your life’s work to protect think so little of you and what you’ve had to do, endure, give up, and survive to give them the freedom to have such disdain that they (allegedly, if we are to believe that this fucking babbling retard in the White House received more votes for President in the history of voting for the President) would choose this dementia patient to be your Commander in Chief. Since he just submitted his letter of resignation, I won’t bother to speak as to how he will be treated when he attempts to use the benefits he has rightfully earned. If he was from Central or South America, he’d be all set, but because he from the U.S., he’s not as worthy.

Perhaps when the S-vests start detonating in Walmart, and Times Square, and the Mall of America, and people get to enjoy the sensation of eating lunch with parts and pieces of their friends and colleagues still embedded in their skin and clothing they will come to a different conclusion. I suspect not, but “fuck it”. That’s not my problem anymore.
You can get much more of what you want with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone.

I had not seen this video before. He wound up getting ordered to a hospital for a mental health screening.

    The LTCol's words on this:

"The US Marine Corps officer who was relieved of his command over a battalion for chastising his bosses over the botched Afghan withdrawal has revealed that he was ordered to undergo a mental health screening.

“When I went into work this morning, I was ordered by my commanding officer to go to the Hospital for a mental health screening,” Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller wrote on Facebook on Monday.

“I was evaluated by the mental health specialists and then sent on my way. My CO is a standup guy, and I understand why he did it,” he added.

More details on it here: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mar...tan-withdrawal

Some of the things he said could be construed as worrisome. For example he says that he loves his wife and doesn't know what decisions that she will make in the next 72 hours and then provides viewers with her paypal address and vemo--a way to transfer money--info. When you add that to his tone and affect it becomes concerning. I am not and have never been a Marine, nor have I accomplished the things that this man has, or have had the experiences that he had. But in today's day and age when making public statements like this, you have be super careful about not appearing to be a threat to yourself, or a threat to others in a way that would be illegal.
