Lost River: You deserve kudos for the photography. The gorgeous holsters are just cake icing. Thanks!

I don't know about "Fancy", but if "Quality/Functional" counts, I'll play.

Nice Leather. The only "Fancy" thing about mine is the Shark Trim. Everything else is pretty practical as well.

The first pic was taken by Nick's wife (Mrs Milt Sparks) at the 50ths anniversary invitational a couple years ago. The rig I was wearing was made by them in 1999 and worn by me at my wedding under my tux suit jacket. I carried a 70S Colt at my wedding. 20+ years later The belt, holster and pouches are all still in great shape. Better shape than I am with all the hardware in me, which is something that the guy standing next to me knows something about too, as he has had his share of surgeries. But I think his retirement package after he sells Thunder Ranch will be pretty comfortable.

Yes! I'm instantly transported 40yrs back to being a kid again reading all the slicks about all the guns I'm gonna grow up and shoot someday. Two-tone 1911's have a similar effect.

    Those are Herrett's.

They are probably my favorite 1911 grip. They are just the right blend of smooth surface and diamond pattern, where when it rubs against your bare skin under a shirt it does not rub you raw carrying all day. Yet when you need to really grip it, it is plenty aggressive enough. Plus it is classic "Old School". Love them.
