Would not something pointy penetrate better than something flat?
My guess is that the flat nose may deflect less due to angled impacts.....If this is the case it would be the only advantage it seems to this round.
Not sure why anybody cares for civilian use....
The bullet length I quoted for the 115 grain Winchester White Box load appears to be incorrect.
I think the bullet length is most likely .590" in actuality.
If the 115 and 124 weights are much closer in length than previously stated, then any bullet yaw may have had little or no effect on penetration.
