Thread: Glock Gen5 vent

    Dear Glock,

Let me buy DLC coated internals and incorporate the breechface cut on all Glocks. Keep up the good work.

    XOXO

I think the main cause of Glock knuckle and slide bite is full size men trying to cram their hands on little girl sized gun.

    The 17 exists…

    Yeah, but the G45 exists.

Plus you can do Abbott and Costello bits IRL with owning a Glock 45 9mm.

Yeah but the 45 is disadvantage of a 17 and 19 in the same gun.

    I’ll take a 17.

    Gen3 model

Gaston must have used me when he designed the finger grooves on the G17 frame. Fits like a glove. No knuckle problems to report here. Been shooting the gen3 since 2002. Happy customer.

The 45 makes more sense to me - full grip and easier in the car.

I have a generously sized pistol for my hand size, and I give myself Glock knuckle in 20-30 draws of dry fire. Even with the perma-callus that I developed there, it's still less than comfortable.

Doesn't happen on other pistols, so yeah, the Glock shape is the issue.

Gaming will get you killed in the streets. Dueling will get you killed in the fields.

I don’t mind OEM mags for everything else, although I still struggle taking them apart, but I would love thin baseplate flush-fit mags for concealed carry. I am too lazy to measure exactly so I'd guess that standard mags stick out enough to increase true height by at least a quarter?

The thing that bothers me is that over the years, folks have been so "Glockified", that they refer to a standard Glock mag as a "flush" mag.

As YVK pointed out, a 1911 can be had with a flush mag. I've never seen a Glock with one.

I’d love that for the G48/43x!
