“Well," said Pooh, "what I like best," and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called.

That is a crazy mark up. 10.5 grams of 18K gold is worth about $460.00. Those guys want 2 grand for it.

Now a 18K gold gadget, I might be down for...

True story (no, for real…) I was once in a vegas pawn shop at night, and there was a very strung out lady wanting to hock her gold fillings. This went on a while, before the proprietor got rid of her and I had a chance to ask him if that was a common occurrence.

“Oh Yeah. Weekly… the serious ones bring their own pliers in and try to hand them to me…”

Compared to jewelry, which this slide cover plate is, the markup is not too bad. The really bad news is 18K gold is soft enough that dry firing the pistol will dent the plate and impact the reliability. Of course, using the pistol, let alone dry firing, is the last thing a buyer of this product would consider.

Waiting for TDG to release the gadget in 18K gold.
