    I used 15 and it came loose. So it’s now at somewhere between 20 and 25.

    NOTE: 15# for the MOS plate screws. 20# for the clamp bolt.

    I agree… with the steel plate I’d use 15in/lbs for plate-slide and 20in/lbs for the optic-plate clamp screw.

    Great optic. I can't conceal it personally. So it is either going on a carbine as an offset or being sold.

    Photos I have seen up on a private FB group in the past 24 hours strongly support that plan. (And perhaps a helmet, with ballistic visor, if you’re using any cross bolt pistol optic on an aluminum plate.)

    Where was the failure point? I'm guessing the optic worked itself loose after the soft metal of the plate deformed under recoil.
