Yeah my aluminum one has had some wear on the clamp side of the slot. Holosun has a pretty high torque value for that screw.

Langdon revised their 92 509 plate. Still aluminum but the crossbolt slot is a tighter fit and they added fencing. The crossbolt slot on my gen 1 plate was sloppy and deformed after only a few mags worth of recoil. Langdon sent me a gen 2 for free after I complained. I don’t have any time on the new plate to comment. I believe both generations are made by CHPWS. my 509 is an x2.

Mounting 509T on CHPWS plate, what inlbs to use?

What inlbs is everyone using to mount the 509T to a CHPWS plate. I'm setting up my G5 19 MOS tonight.

CHPWS states to use 10 inlbs?

    I have heard others use20inlbs?

    Thanks in advance
    Steve

    10 sounds low to me.

I don’t know about an aluminum plate, but I used 25in-lbs on the Holosun plate after the 509 came loose at 15.

I’m pretty sure the Holosun manual says 20in/lb

Got the 509t mounted on my g19 mos, with trl7a. Still have to order BUIS.
In dry fire, dot is as crisp as my other holosuns. Conceals as well as my other glocks with 507c.
Now to find time to get to range and zero.
    Will report back

    I have a 509T on approx. 35k is rounds.

I love it very much. It is my favorite optic.

I have since sadly swapped to the eps carry since I carry an xl macro (vs the g19). Eps carry is nice but I love the 509T

I'm mounting my 509t tomorrow, using the holosun steel mos plate. What torque should I use on the screws to mount the plate to the slide?
