    New Supreme Belts

We have been wanting to release a non-scuba version of the Specialist for a while but have not had the time to get everything in order to make one available. To keep it short this is like the D-Ring but with a Specialist size buckle and a hook-and-loop closure. It draws on some of the construction methods we used on the older SanMai belts and should provide an option for AIWB that up until now we haven't had in our offerings.

The Specialist Supreme features a very small solid brass buckle which is high quality and looks rather nice with an aged finish for a subdued appearance. The webbing on the Supreme is excellent, the colors are nice and it is super strong. The anti-snag strips covering the loop makes the belt easy to take on and off and we also have brought back the 'rip-cord' which is a section of loop that can be placed on the hook when taking the belt on and off to make it easier and to protect your belt loops from the hook, especially if you are wearing a nicer pair of pants.

Something that has always been important to us in our personal gear is that it does not have an overly tactical appearance, the visual aesthetic of the Supreme is in our opinion a more refined belt design that does not scream tactical wizard which is a personal plus for us but we think there are others who feel the same. Additionally it can be worn with dressier clothes and not look out of place giving one an option for a dedicated high performance gun belt that looks a bit dressier without having to use a dress belt with holes losing the micro adjust ability that is offered by a nylon belt.

We can post more info and pics if people are interested.

Love the looks of this belt. I’m not sure if it’s feasible, but I’d be interested in seeing a “preppy” colorway: navy/white, navy/red, navy/yellow, navy/green. I ordered a green and can’t wait to try it.

Very interesting. The Sanmai is still my EDC belt, most comfortable belt for AIWB for me so far. But parts of it are starting to get worn by the buckle. How would you say the comfort of this new belt compares to the Sanmai?

For being a two man shop, Mastermind punches miles above it's weight by putting out so much innovative and affordable gear, and keeping up with the demands of production.

A big two thumbs up for you guys.

Special editions are possible (and likely)

Personally, we find the construction of the Specialist Supreme to be the most comfortable belt we offer. The SanMai was our most comfortable reinforced belt in our opinion however we both find the non-reinforced design of the Specialist Supreme to be much more comfortable for AIWB carry.

    D-Ring Supreme

We are happy to announce the D-Ring Supreme. The D-Ring Supreme is a production version of the belts that we have been using personally since the early days of Mastermind. The D-Ring Supreme has no hook and loop and ships with an elastic keeper. It has the same basic construction of the Specialist Supreme but does away with the hook-and-loop.

Sorry for the dumb question, but do your belts also work with the 3 O'Clock carry position? Or are they designed more for AIWB?
