With S&W releasing a factory-milled M&P 9mm for ACRO, does anyone have intel on Glock doing the same as a new MOS option? If anyone is at SHOT, drop the question into a rep for me!
I know that Glock has MOS direct mill for rmr and dpp, not sure on acro yet, but Cowan referenced some other variants in one of his videos. I also think they are special order items.
It may have started as a special order but it is now an LE only catalog item with it’s own SKU.

For reasons known only to Smith & Wesson some of their best products often start out as LE only products.
Glock has offered the RMR and shield specific optics cut commercially in Europe for a few years. They have since added an optic specific cut for the DPP footprint.
Right now they are available in the US for agency sales only.
With Smith and Wesson offering an ACRO cut M&P you really think Glock is going to lose market share and leave $$$ on the table by NOT offering a an ACRO cut slide ?
There will be a Glock Acro cut version. Possibly at least one other manufacturer as well. Smith at least may be partnering with Aimpoint for a factory-direct combination option to compete with the Sig RXP series guns for agency sales. For optics discerning shooters, that could steal some of Sigs Thunder in this arena.
Still waiting for the military to mandate a rail mount PMO system. That will change the game dramatically.
