    I broke down & ordered a Steiner MPS.

    I think Aimpoint has become Swedish for "H&K - We hate you, and you suck!"

    I did, "but" ...

    I need to spend some time on one anyway for teaching purposes;
    I got it for @ $100 less than a P1 would cost me;
    If the seller is to be believed, I'll have it within a few weeks of paying for it;

    I was in the same boat about a month and a half ago. I had finally got my Glock 19 slide back after having it milled for the P2, but no product. I got the MPS in a week and have had no issues with it for the past month or so. The optic works for what I need and the only issue I've been working through has to do with finding a comp that is reliable. The MPS, X300, and iterations of different comps and stock barrel have all fit in the 6390. I will probably call it the day with the stock barrel and find a muzzle stop work around. And yes I still have my backorder in for the P2.

    The battery hours I have in my hand, versus some mythical, unobtanium hours are definitely betterer. The most cringe I have seen in years was Wayne Dobbs telling someone to buy and Aimpoint, not an MPS. I get you've got to ride for the brand, but F me walking when Aimpoint has acted like the biggest douchenozzle on the planet with this roll-out; maybe sit this one out. Wayne is an awesome guy, a cop I respect and one of the few dudes I would pay to take instruction from, but even he can't make up for Aimpoint's mistakes on this one.

    Looks like some of the delay may be P-2s going to the French Army contract ?
